We are passionately committed to changing the lives of children and teens with a chronic illness. Our mission is to infuse hope & happiness into their daily lives, empowering them to face challenges with courage, and to create a supportive community.
We strive for our families to LIVE for tomorrow, HOPE for a brighter future, and to LAUGH always. We hope to make a difference in every life that we come into contact with.

All year round, we offer a variety of services for the families we support. From getting them ready for back-to-school to taking them on fun outings and hosting laid-back ice cream socials at the park, we strive to make every moment special.

Behind every event and fundraiser, there’s a volunteer working hard to help make it a success. Find out how you can get involved!

Our biggest event of the year brings together over 100 families at the Elks Lodge in Westminster for a memorable Night of Giving!
At every event, we aim to make a meaningful impact. We want to offer a sense of community they can rely on for support and encouragement during tough times. We strive to show them they have a strong support system, ease a bit of their financial burden, and give them a chance to have fun—reminding them that even with a chronic illness, it doesn’t have to hold them back. We aim to let them know WE are there for them.
YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS!
We treat every donation—whether it’s money, toys, food, or your time—with the utmost respect and appreciation. Every moment you give can make a huge difference!
Inclusive Collaboration
Sustainable change only happens when those most affected help design the solution.
We’ve seen it firsthand with our Night of Giving—when we reached out to the Elks Lodge in Westminster, MD, they were more than happy to lend a helping hand – as soon as the night wrapped up, they were already brainstorming ways to make it even better for the next year. Every year, they go above and beyond to ensure this night is a success for our families.
It’s more than charity, we are family!
Charity is not a single event; it’s a lifelong rhythm of empathy in action.
We value the bonds that have formed between our families and volunteers. Over time, our families have come to rely on and support one another, sharing in each other’s milestones and celebrations. Our volunteers have become so much more than just volunteers; they’ve truly become part of the Live Hope Laugh family.
